the food at the restaurant was really good, especially the full english breakfast in the mornin. staff were super friendly n helpful too. my room was cozy and had everything i needed. the bathroom was spacious n relaxing, loved the bathtub! definitely gonna stay again.

We were incredibly disappointed with our last stay at The Angel. The staff seemed untrained and struggled to understand our breakfast order, forcing me to write it down instead. The breakfast quality was poor, and we encountered a cleaner walking into our room without knocking. This was unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.

The WiFi was unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. I also encountered issues with breakfast. some items were overcooked and not very appetizing. I noticed that the carpets throughout my room were uneven, creating tripping hazards, and the TV placement in my suite made it hard to watch comfortably. I experienced a minor inconvenience when the cleaner entered my room without knocking, which was quite unsettling. While I appreciated the cleanliness and the friendly staff, the lack of proper communication and attention to detail left me disappointed.

Had an awesome weekend getaway with friends! Enjoyed darts at the hotel and loved exploring Ripon Racecourse. The staff made us feel super welcome, and the food was delicious. The setting was perfect for relaxation after a long day of activities. Can't wait to come back!

we had a great time at the angel! the room was spacious and very clean. the large beer garden is a perfect spot to relax. breakfast was good, and the lady serving it was super attentive. we particularly enjoyed the large fish and chips for dinner!

The double shower in the large bathroom offered a solid upgrade, lending a fresh feel that could work well if the controls were sorted out. The outdoor gardens serve as a beautiful backdrop for memorable gatherings like weddings, which adds some character to the stay.

Unfortunately, the recent building refurbishments led to noticeable disruptions, including hard, overcooked bacon at breakfast and a lack of communication about dining options. The TV positioning in the suite made it a hassle to watch from the bed, compounded by a heavy sofa that needed to be moved. One room being near the stairwell invites noise from foot traffic and slamming doors, making for less restful moments.
